Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has reported the correct developmental progress of the Velana International Airport expansion project.
Earlier, on 04th August a few of Chinese local news outlets had incorrectly reported on BUCG, the contracted party, fully completing the entire development of VIA’s new seaplane terminal.
However, MACL on Monday, 16th August, released a press statement confirming the news to be untrue while asserting that the contractor had only completed the development of the new lounge area.
