The American Express Travel Impressions has launched a brand new destination promotional campaign, marketing the Maldives to affluent travelers of German and Austrian markets.

Moreover, under the destination promotion campaign information brochures marketing the island nation will be circulated among the affluent cardholders of American Express, starting effectively from 26th November.

Furthermore, the campaign with American Express targets 4,500 Centurion cardholders in the German and Austrian markets by “mailing exclusive Maldives destination brochure featuring various, luxury properties directly” to the cardholders.

Centurion cardholders are the highest tier spenders for the credit card firm, while becoming a member of this tier is invitation-only by American Express along with a year-long and strict set of obligations.

Moreover, during the campaign Maldives will be promoted as a safe haven for luxury travelers while emphasis will be made on the unique geographical features of the island nation that enhances safety and seclusion for travelers.

In addition to this, the campaign will be utilized to market the unique travel experiences found in resorts, hotels, guesthouses and liveaboards in the Maldives.

Travel Impressions is the vacations collection brand for American Express, while the travel brand is exclusively contracted to the card firm to reach premium card members, who receive top-tier benefits.
