Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Wednesday, 03rd August, attended the India-Maldives Business Forum held in Mumbai.
The forum is hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The event brought together “prominent business leaders from the Maldives and India” to discuss strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
In addition to attending the forum held in Mumbai, President Solih attended the India-Maldives Business Forum in New Delhi as well. The Maldives head of state delivered a keynote speech at the New Delhi forum.
President Solih is currently on a four-day official visit to India on an official invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Maldivian head of state is flanked by a high-level delegation of government officials and local business leaders during his visit.
