Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) announces it will disburse MVR25,000 each to its employees.
The bonus is disbursed to the company’s employees from retained profits of the fiscal year of 2021. This marks the first time since two years MACL is disbursing bonuses, which halted in 2020.
During the previous round of bonus pay in 2019, employees each received MVR7,870.79 while bonus payment this year it is thrice this amount.
Employees who were employed at MACL for the full fiscal year of 2021 is subject to the bonus. Apart from this, employees who worked for a duration of six months or more in 2021, and employees who resigned last year will receive bonuses based on their worked hours.
MACL reports employees who were terminated in accordance to its disciplinary policies will not be receiving the bonus.
According to a circular sent out by the company’s management, staffs will receive their bonuses before 18th August.
