Jalboot Marine Services Pvt Ltd hosts the inauguration of their latest internship program, on 30th August 2022 at the Maldives Polytechnic.
A total of 15 local youths were awarded certificate of selection for the company’s internship. Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan graced the ceremony. The event was attended by interns and their parents, as well as staff of Jalboot.
The minister, at the ceremony, spoke on the importance of private sector contribution. He also highlighted the necessity on human resource development. Dr. Hassan requested from the winning interns to take the opportunity on learning, and completing their training.
In his speech, Dr. Hassan had also expressed gratitude for Jalboot for their ongoing initiatives in fostering local youths into the marine field.
