Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) confirms their decision to extend free services of RTL mini-buses for another two weeks.
Test phase of the RTL bus service began earlier on 05th September, which concluded Sunday, 18th September. The test phase aimed to assess public reception, and familiarize them with bus routes.

Services start daily at 05:45hrs, making stops at a total of 40 bus stops in the capital. Buses run every 10 to 15 minutes from various points in the city.
MTCC operates a total of 18 mini-buses under its RTL services. Eight of these vehicles are 20-seaters with ramps for easy boarding, and for persons differently abled. Remaining 10 variants have 22 seats with overhead handles providing control for standing passengers.
