    Tree Top Hospital announces price discounts on heart screening packages

    Tertiary healthcare institution, Tree Top Hospital, announces 10% discount on their heart screening packages.

    The two packages; Healthy Heart and Strong Heart, are designed for two age groups. The Healthy Heart for patients aged between 30 and 60, while Strong Heart is for patients aged 60 and above.

    The packages aim to thoroughly analyze cardiovascular conditions.

    Both packages include Clinical Examinations, Imaging and Diagnostics, OPD Consultation and Laboratory Investigations.

    Clinical Examinations;

    • Medical History
    • Height and Weight measurement
    • Body Mass Index (BMI)
    • Blood Pressure

    Imaging and Diagnostics;

    • Chest X-Ray
    • Echocardiogram
    • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
    • Cardiac Stress ECG (TMT)

    OPD Consultation components include, consultation and review by a cardiology specialist and nutrition assessment by a clinical dietician.

    Laboratory Investigations;

    • Full Blood Count
    • Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate
    • Glycated Haemoglobin
    • Fasting Blood Glucose
    • Urea
    • Creatine
    • Uric Acid
    • Sodium
    • Potassium
    • Lipid Profile
    • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

    The two components under Healthy Heart and Strong Heart packages which differ include;

    • Homocysteine – Healthy Heart
    • CRP (Vario) – Strong Heart

    According to Tree Top, they reduced prices on these packages to encourage the public to screen their heart. Cardiovascular diseases remain one of the more rampant health issues in the Maldives till date.
