    Dhiraagu to pay dividends at MVR7.33 per share

    Dhiraagu announces a dividend of MVR7.33 per share for 2022

    Dhiraagu, the country’s leading telecom and internet service provider announced a dividend of MVR7.33 per share for the year 2022.

    The company confirmed its decision at its 34th Annual General Meeting held on Monday, 20th March. Dhiraagu passed a special resolution declaring its dividend for the previous fiscal year which amounts to MVR557,080,000.

    The full-year dividend is made up of the interim dividend of MVR1.66 per share, which is a total of MVR126,160,000 paid in 2022, and a final dividend of MVR5.67 per share, which is a total of MVR430,920,000 declared on Monday’s AGM.

    Dhiraagu also re-appointed KPMG as its External Auditor for the 2023 fiscal year. KPMG will act as the External Auditor until the conclusion of the next AGM to carry out the statutory audit for the fiscal year ending on 31st December 2023.

    The company also passed a resolution granting its board of directors the authority to approve and declare any interim dividend during the financial year of 2023 according to its dividend policy.
