Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) announced an annual bonus of MVR 25,000 (USD 1,621) for each of its employees.
According MACL, employees who worked for the entire fiscal year of 2022 will be eligible to receive the bonus. Those who worked for at least six months, and those who resigned in the previous year, will receive bonuses according to the period they were employed with MACL in 2022.
However, employees who were terminated in accordance with MACL’s disciplinary policy will not be entitled to the bonus.
The bonus will be deposited in to the bank accounts of the employees latest by Sunday, August 13.
MACL has the largest local workforce among all state-owned enterprises in the Maldives, and the company had granted a bonus of MVR 25,000 per employee in 2022 as well.
