Beond, the world’s pioneer in premium leisure aviation airline, has officially announced the lease and acquisition of a new aircraft to address the growing demand for exclusive travel experience to the Maldives.

According to the airline, on its website, Beond is currently in process of reconfiguring the Airbus A321 plane to accommodate 68 passengers in premium, all-lay flat seating.

Earlier in November 2023, Beond successfully launched passenger services from Munich, Zurich, and Riyadh to Male, marking the commencement of operations from airline’s primary hub.

The maiden flight of Beond, a reconfigured A319 with 44 all-lay flat seating, made landing at Velana International Airport (VIA) in late 2023.

The addition of Beond’s second aircraft will become instrumental in supporting the airline’s planned expansion routes from Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok to the Maldives, which is slated to commence in mid-2024.

Speaking about this prospective growth, Beond’s Chairman Tero Taskila said, “We are delighted to take delivery of our second aircraft. Our new patrons in Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok will be treated to the sight of this remarkable aircraft at their respective home airports, and they can anticipate a delightful experience from the beginning to the end of their journey.”

In the same note, Taskila also affirmed Beond’s commitment to operating 32 luxurious aircraft, providing a private jet ambiance in the next five years.
