    RACL confirm varying degrees of development in 19 domestic airports

    The Managing Director of Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) has stated that development in varying degrees were underway across 19 domestic airports in the Maldives.

    RACL Managing Director Ahmed Mubeen made the statement while speaking to the public of Faafu atoll Feeali. He is accompanying Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who is currently on a tour of the upper-central atolls ahead of the parliamentary election.

    While speaking at the rally, Mubeen highlighted that the 19 airports include upgrade works on existing air gateways and new ones. He added that the economical condition of the Maldives would observe improvement upon the completion of the airports, paving way for improved domestic aviation activities and thereby driving up employment opportunities for many.

    He also emphasized RACL and the government were committed in delivering upon these promises this early on in the current administration, to ensure the public receive infrastructure development as per their needs.

    Mubeen further noted that the ongoing airport development projects across the Maldives is testament to the current administration’s prioritization towards addressing public plights and resolving them actively.
