    Ooredoo has announced the launch of Saudi Passport, a dedicated roaming SIM card designed to provide seamless connectivity and excellent rates for Hajj pilgrims.

    With the Saudi Passport SIM, Ooredoo aims to ensure its customers to stay connected with loved ones and access essential services.

    “Enjoy unbeatable call, SMS, and data rates” Ooredoo said, about the SIM which is tailored specifically for the Hajj season, that ensures connectivity throughout the pilgrims’ journey.

    The Saudi Passport SIM comes bundled with 15GB roaming data, 60 minutes of voice calls (calling and receiving) and 60 SMS. Additional data will be charged at MVR 0.99 per MB.

    “With the launch of Ooredoo Maldives’ Saudi Passport travel SIM specifically for Saudi Arabia, we are witnessing a significant step towards enhancing the connectivity and convenience for our pilgrims,” said Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Minister of Islamic Affairs.

    “This initiative simplifies communication for those undertaking the blessed journey of Hajj and also exemplifies Ooredoo’s commitment to leveraging technology to serve our community’s needs. We commend Ooredoo Maldives for this thoughtful service.”
