    The two-day multi-specialty health camp was held from June 29 to 30, 2024 with the aim of providing specialist consultations for Vilingili residents and surrounding islands, who face challenges traveling to Male’ City – the Maldives capital – due to distance or financial constraints.

    The camp featured consultations from renowned specialists, that included;

    • Dr. Abdul Azeez – Consultant, Interventional Cardiologist
    • Dr. Chandrashekar Rawal – Consultant, ENT Specialist
    • Dr. Mohamed Habeeb – Consultant, Orthopedics and Trauma Surgeon
    • Dr. Tehzeb Faruqui – Consultant, Pulmonologist
    • Dr. Mehmet Oder – Consultant, Urologist

    A total of 317 patients from the host island, Kolamaafushi, Maamendhoo, Dhaandhoo, Kondey, Nilandhoo, Kaduhulhudhoo, and Gemanafushi of the same atoll benefitted from consultations with these specialists.

    Tree Top Hospital CEO Dr. Srivatsan Sridhar G, and COO Adil Moosa actively participated in the camp, underlining the hospital’s commitment to community engagement.

    “This camp served a crucial purpose by offering much-needed specialist consultations to residents who might otherwise struggle with accessibility or affordability,” said Dr. Sridhar G.

    “We are committed to working with Maldivian communities to raise awareness about preventive healthcare and the importance of early detection.”
