Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives celebrated its 41st anniversary on Sunday with a reflection of the company’s strong performance in 2025.
In 2025, the company celebrated 40 years of service excellence, successfully combining strong business growth with impactful community, sustainability, and corporate partnership initiatives.
Key Highlights of Allied Insurance in 2025:
- DIVE40 – an ocean awareness and marine conservation initiative
- ‘Rakka’ Road Safety Campaign conducted in partnership with the Maldives Police Service
- Allied Fest 2025 Series held across major cities to promote financial awareness and family takaful plans
Allied also held the Allied Baiskalu Race; an event encouraging health and wellness within the community.
During last year, the company further strengthened its presence through strategic partnerships across leading national and international platforms, including the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), Travel Trade Maldives (TTM), Bizweek, CEO Summit, Maldives Tax Forum, Marine Industry Forum, Maldives Construction Industry Forum, Maldives Marine Expo and Maldives Living Expo.
Moreover, Allied achieved a historical milestone with a revenue increment and continued leadership position in the market compared to the year before. Additionally, the company continued to lead the market with a high share and throughout the year, Allied’s existing products were enhancing to align with market dynamics and meet the requirements of new and emerging clients.
Besides marking the 41st anniversary of Allied Insurance, its Allied Islamic Window celebrated 10th anniversary as well, and as part of the celebration, the company”s Ayady Takaful was rebranded to Allied Takaful.
Allied Takaful was also honored with the prestigious title of Takaful Window/Unit of the Decade (2016-2025) at the IFFSA Awards and was honored with the GIFA Excellence Award (Takaful) 2025 by GIFA (Global Islamic and Financing Award).
While speaking at the press briefing, the company’s Chief Underwriting Officer Iuliana Rusei spoke about the company’s vision for the current year.
As the company celebrates 41 years of service excellence, Allied is continuing to enhance products to better meet changing market trends. The company remains financially strong and supported by A-rated reinsurers, ensuring long-term stability and resilience.

More emphasis will be placed on the private sector, particularly individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises, through the development of tailored insurance solutions, and by enhancing the customer journey and by improving service quality, streamlining workflows, and strengthening overall client experience.
In 2026, the company is poised to continue prioritizing high-impact corporate partnerships and active participation in strategic platforms where it is onboarded as a key partner, leveraging these engagements for innovative insurance solutions and business networking. The community initiatives in 2026 will primarily focus on health and wellness.
At the press briefing held on Sunday, Allied also unveiled its refined corporate logo which reflects the evolving brand while staying true to the identity. In line with this refresh, Allied Takaful logo was also refined and officially unveiled. These refreshed looks maintain clarity and consistency across digital, print and experimental platforms.
To mark the occasion, Allied announced a special 25% discount on Comprehensive Online Motor Insurance for motor bikes valid for the first 41 new policies, Including Allied Takaful plans.
Besides this, Allied Insurance also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Maldives Police Service for the ‘Rakka’ Road Safety Awareness Campaign 2026, reaffirming Allied’s commitment to road safety and community well-being since 2014. The agreement was signed by the Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen and Allied Managing Director Hussain Luwaiz. This partnership reflects Allied’s long-standing commitment to community safety and social responsibility.
