    MTCC CEO meets Mandhoo Council to brief on harbor project

    MTCC front-man visits Mandhoo project site prior to harbor development mobilization

    Tuesday, 17th August – The Chief Executive of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) Mr. Adam Azim met with Alif Dhaal Mandhoo Island Council members to brief on the harbor development project.

    Moreover, the MTCC front-man had visited the project site as well while actual mobilization for the project is scheduled for September 2021.

    Project scope involves dredging operations of 19,630 cubic meters in volume along with the construction of harbor structures which include a quay wall, breakwater and a jetty measuring 136 meters, 31 meters and 138.73 meters, respectively.

    Additionally, MTCC as the project contractor is assigned with installation of the streetlights under the project scope along with the construction of a 580 square meter pavement.

    Furthermore, MTCC reports the project valuation at a total of MVR32.28 million.
