The proposed state budget by the Maldives government for the upcoming year of 2022 is MVR36,925.4 million (MVR36.9 billion). The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) of Maldives has signed with Medianet to include the latter’s services in the former’s Open Access Network. Regarding the partnership, HDC affirms that residents of Hulhumale’-Phase 2 and especially Hiyaa Flat residents will receive Medianet services at faster speeds. The Open Access Network by HDC, being deployed at the satellite town is part of HDC’s strategies to strengthen digitalization of state services and the enhancement of businesses, as well as the lifestyles of the residents in the area.
The newest vessel of Maldives State Shipping (MSS) has arrived in the country’s capital Male’ City, on 30th October, Friday. The Port Training Center (PTC) has conducted a cyber security awareness session for the executive members of the Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).
