The Maldives government has signed a Financing Agreement with the European Union (EU), which would allocate EUR 6.5 million aimed at strengthening the blue economy of the Indian Ocean archipelago. State Electric Company (STELCO) employees have come to remove tin sheets kept in a dangerous position in ADh. Fenfushi. STELCO confirmed its employees removed the tin sheets placed as a wall covering of a warehouse in Fenfushi. The sheets, full of rust, were in rundown condition. STELCO employees had assisted in removing the sheets and keeping them safely away. The utility provider said that the worn out sheets were removed to ensure that it does not get ripped and blown off in strong winds, amid bad weather conditions across the Maldives currently.
