    MATATO renews WTM London partnership

The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has officially partnered with RX Global, the organizers of the World Travel Market (WTM), for the upcoming WTM London 2024.

This partnership, MATATO said in a statement, solidified the association’s position as the only travel and tourism association in the Maldives to “secure such a significant collaboration” with the WTM.

This is not the first instance of a MATATO partnership with WTM London, as their first collaboration dates back to 2016, when MATATO first made waves by entering into a similar agreement.

“This renewal solidifies the association’s longstanding leadership in promoting the Maldives’ vibrant tourism sector.”

MATATO further said its partnership with WTM London 2024 amplifies the Maldives’ significance in the global tourism industry, adding the partnership came at a crucial time with the Maldives poised to showcase its “ever-growing range of travel experiences – from high-end resorts and guesthouses to eco-tourism and cultural attractions.”

The WTM London, one of the largest and most prestigious travel and tourism expos in the world, is set to take place from November 5 to 7, 2024 at the ExCel London.

More than 5,000 exhibitors and over 51,000 global visitors are expected at the event that promises to be a “game-changer for the Maldives’ positioning on the world tourism stage.”
