The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) on Thursday, announced its operating hours for the upcoming Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
The Maldives central bank in a statement confirmed it would operate from morning 09:00hrs until 13:00hrs during Ramadan and on the first seven days of Shawwal, the Islamic calendar month that follows.
MMA said its banking services will be open from 09:30hrs until 12:00hrs. Additionally, it will be accepting letters and similar documents during the same operating hours.
