Fuel Supplies Maldives’ (FSM) fuel supply station in Alif Dhaalu atoll Dhangethi opens for service.
The station is part of current government’s efforts to expand fuel supply services across the Maldives.
State Trading Organization (STO), the parent company of FSM, assisted the state fuel supplier in developing the station in the local island. The station was opened officially during a special ceremony held for the occasion.
Dhangethi MP Abdulla Rasheed officiated the ceremony, and inaugurated the station. Island council officials and other senior members from various public bodies were in presence of the ceremony.
Fishers will receive fuel from the Dhangethi station at the same price rates as Male’ stations.
This expansion reflects President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s policies of enhancing basic services and facilities across the Maldives, to increase access for locals residing outside of Greater Male’ region.
