    Award winning singer and pianist Clarita De Quiroz to perform at LTI Maafushivaru in festive season

    Scottish born award winning singer and pianist Clarita De Quiroz is set to perform during the live music entertainment event at the LTI Maafushivaru in the festive season.

    As such, the international performer with multiple and successful stints at Dubai and Abu Dhabi will entertain the guests at Maafushivaru with live performances on Christmas Eve as well as during the following evenings leading up to the New Year’s Eve.

    De Quiroz is a classically trained pianist and was also named north-east Scotland’s “Young Musician of the Year” in 1998. Throughout her amazing career, she has been recognized for showing support to her fellow music fraternity including Sir Elton John at his Abu Dhabi Yas Arena performance in 2012.

    In addition to this De Quiroz also won the GR8! Women Awards 2012 for Best Singer in the Middle East.

    Some of her noteworthy performances include the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi 2011 right after her performance alongside Macy Gray in Doha for the Doha 21st Century Leaders Award earlier in the same year.

    Moreover, De Quiroz completed her “Grade 8 Piano” at the ripe age of 16 and completed her “Grade 8 Percussion” a year earlier at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She composed her very first concerto “Inamorata” at the age of 15.

    Meanwhile, her performances in Dubai where she is most frequently active, had included the Grazia Style Awards 2009, Time Out Awards and Esquire Magazine Launch 2009, Arabian Business Awards and Emirates Woman of the Year Awards 2009 while in the same year she performed in front of the Qatar Al Thani Royal Family as well.

    Furthermore, apart from being a successful and applauded singer and pianist she has had a considerably successful modeling career as well, with her Dubai agency for modeling being “Bareface” and had modeled for MAC Makeup, Guerlain Makeup UAE, Snob Magazine, Physique magazine, Illustrado, Liz Claiborne UAE, Sheraton Hotels, Lily Pond Spa, Galeries Lafayette as well as in Dubai Tourism Global Commercial and Men’s Fitness Magazine along with several other notable modeling contracts.
