Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has launched an online destination training campaign in association with 2HUB targeting the Indian market.

According to MMPRC, the destination training program will be conducted from 16th February until 16th May 2022.

Under the joint effort, 2HUB will create a dedicated online platform to provide the latest and up-to-date information about the Maldivian tourism sector to travel-trade professionals working in the Indian market.

The information related to the island nation will be made available to members of 2HUB which will include tour operators and travel agents.

MMPRC hopes to familiarize travel-trade professionals working in the Indian market with the latest information on safety measures taken in the resorts, hotels, guesthouses, safaris, and liveaboards as well as the unique experiences available in the country for travelers.

The Destination Online Training will reportedly attract over 500 travel partners from India during the program’s three-month run. Moreover, travel-trade partners can expect to interact directly with over 120,000 high potential travelers, and thus boost bookings and arrivals from the source market to the Maldives.

MMPRC’s associated partner for the campaign 2HUB is an online Business-to-Business reseller platform that “aggregates Asia’s largest portfolio of travel experiences for travel agents to discover, compare and book tours around the world” and has offerings of more than 40,000 tours in over 60 different countries.
