Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has partnered up with Malaysia’s MuBump Media to launch a “cabvertising” campaign from 17th March to 17th May 2022.

Through this creative destination advertisement, Maldives will be promoted as a “preferred and safe tourist destination for Malaysia travelers.”

Furthermore, this campaign aligns with the Maldives tourism promoter’s strategy targeting Southeast Asian markets.

MyBump Media will assist MMPRC in its efforts to maximize the visibility of the island nation’s destination promotion in the market and increase destination awareness to maintain brand presence.

The campaign will feature advertisements of the Maldives on at least 30 cabs in high traffic and pedestrian locations such as KL City Center, KLIA/KLIA2 areas.

According to MMPRC, the advertisements will promote three categories of tourism niches which include; honeymoon, underwater, and tourism in general. Furthermore, MyBump Media will aid in blog write-ups as well as dedicated mails sent out to the firm’s various connections.

Moreover, Maldives will be promoted to all MyBump drivers through in-app messaging as well.

MMPRC’s partner in the campaign, MyBump Media is a leading crowdsourced ad-tech platform for transit outdoor media advertising in Malaysia. MyBump regularly have advertisements endorsed on cars by genuine “consumer-matching and using demographic, geo-location, and consumer behavior data.”
