Ooredoo Maldives announces on Wednesday, 15th June, of launching its SuperNet fixed broadband services in Alif Dhaal atoll Dhigurah.

While confirming its service expansion, Ooredoo in a statement confirmed that the SuperNet comes with a wide range of broadband packages with speeds up to 100Mb/s.

“Our fixed broadband, SuperNet plans are offering the best plans clubbed with massive data allowances, higher speeds and data rollover service,” said the Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Mr. Hussain Niyaz.

“With great speeds and quality network coverage, we are delighted to connect the people of Dhigurah to more opportunities,” Mr. Niyaz added.

Mr. Niyaz further echoed Ooredoo’s commitment to propel socio-economic development of the island communities through facilitation of digital technology and expansion of broadband footprint.

Ooredoo Maldives had recently revamped its SuperNet plans to ensure affordable services with current plans of up to five times the regular internet speed with 100% bigger allowances and faster throttled speeds.

The telecom provider is also the first in the Maldives to introduce data rollover services to all of its SuperNet broadband customers through which unused data by the end of the month is carried forward to the following month’s package.
