Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has initiated a digital and print media advertising campaign with popular German lifestyle magazine; Falstaff.

The campaign will last for a duration of three months, starting from June and lasting until the end of August 2022.

Falstaff is a renowned German publication offering the “perfect combination of lifestyle and well-founded information around topics of wine and drinks, food and travel.” Under this joint campaign, MMPRC will advertise the Maldives as a preferred holiday destination on the magazine as well as on the print version of it, both in English and German languages.

The magazine issues are reported to have a combined circulation of 100,000 copies, distributed globally.

Moreover, this marketing and advertising campaign launched by MMPRC in collaboration with Falstaff aims to carry out content targeted at affluent travelers to inspire and influence their travel related decision making.

The new partnership also enhances MMPRC to greatly boost the brand presence of Maldives in the region while the offline and online components of the campaign ensure significant reach to promote the Maldives in three distinct markets in the region which includes; Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Germany is one of the strongest source markets to the Maldives and also one the most consistent. As of the most recent travel update by the Ministry of Tourism, a total of 65,928 tourists from the country have arrived in the Maldives as of 22nd June 2022.
