Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) announces their collaboration with Dotcom Arabia to promote Maldives in Germany.

The campaign will be held in August 2022, with the aim of boosting brand visibility of the island nation in the German market, increase destination awareness, and drive up arrival figures from the market.

MMPRC will canvas Maldives-centric billboards at Postdamer Platz-Quartier and the Berlin Airport.

Germany’s Postdamer Platz-Quartier is a busy hub with an estimated advertisement reach up to 5.5 million people, while the advertisements at the Berlin Airport will reach 1.2 million potential travelers.

The campaign’s partner Dotcom Arabia, is a leading outdoor advertising agency in the region with an impressive portfolio of representing leading companies including BBC, Financial Times, The Guardian and even Vogue among other major brands.

Germany is a consistent source market to the Maldives, with 73,118 annual arrivals to the island nation as of 20th July 2022, placing the market on fourth rank in the list of top-ten source markets to the country.

MMPRC maintains its commitment in the German market to ensure sustained popularity of the island nation. The top tourism promoter took part in major fairs across German market including IMEX 2022, IMM Germany, and the ITB Digital Business Day.

In addition to this, MMPRC ran several successful marketing campaigns with German-centric tour operators TUI Austria, TUI Germany, Condor and FTI.
