    Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) along with 14 industry partners, are showcasing the island nation at the ILTM Cannes 2022.

    Coveted among one of the largest travel trade events in the world, the ILTM Cannes is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes, France from 05th December and will last until 08th December, Thursday. The four-day session include educational sessions, networking, entertainment and invaluable exposure.

    MMPRC’s marketing strategies at the travel trade event are focused on promoting high-end experiences, and promoting tourism segments. Participation in the event is aligned with MMPRC’s efforts to boost destination momentum in the French market.

    France is the seventh top source market to the Maldives, with 42,291 annual arrivals recorded from the market as of 30th November.

    Meanwhile, MMPRC has held over 150 tourism promotion activities in 24 markets by the beginning of the final quarter of 2022. This include participation in several fairs, exhibitions, marketing campaigns with travel trades, media interviews and coverages along with familiarization trips.
