    CROSSROADS Maldives achieves Green Globe Certification in recognition of its sustainability practices

    CROSSROADS Maldives has been awarded the internationally renowned Green Globe Certification (GGC) following a recent sustainability audit.

    CROSSROADS Maldives is the Indian Ocean’s first and only multi-island, integrated leisure destination featuring three award-winning resorts. The resorts include Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, and SO/ Maldives set to open in late 2023. The multi-island, integrated tourism destination also features The Marina @ CROSSROADS; a luxury yacht marina, lifestyle area, and culinary experiences.

    The multi-island destination was developed by S Hotels & Resorts Public Company Limited, the hospitality arm of Singha Estate Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leading real estate company, in partnership with Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd.

    This is the latest honor for CROSSROADS Maldives and its resorts have been recognized for, which already won the 2022 TT Awards for Best MICE Destination and South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) for Leading Yacht Marina Hotel/Resort.

    Moreover, the integrated multi-island destination has adopted environmental best practices by Green Globe standards, which are recognized worldwide as the highest benchmark in the tourism and hospitality industry.

    CROSSROADS Maldives’ comprehensive environment policy covers four key pillars which are; sustainable management, social and economic development, environmental practices, and cultural heritage.
