Amari Raaya Maldives has reported an official opening in early Summer 2023, “celebrating the art and beauty of the archipelago’s natural riches.”

Located 45 minutes by seaplane from Velana International Airport (VIA), the Amari Raaya Maldives located in Raa atoll is an “accessible option” for guests and it is the second Maldives hotel opened by the ONYX Hospitality Group.

Commenting about the property’s opening, the Owner and CEO of ONYX Hospitality Group Yuthachai Charanachitta said, “We are delighted to be nearing completion of Amari Raaya Maldives. This island will have so much to offer, the scale of the resort is impressive, as is the natural beauty of the island. Together with our partner, Panchshil Realty, we eagerly anticipate sharing the resort with the world when it launches this summer.”

The property will introduce 187 villas on the island and overwater ranging between 61 square-meters to 1,228 square-meters. Other highlights include seven dining options, a Maai Spa, and comprehensive facilities for young children and teenagers.

Amari Raaya Maldives has been “sympathetically designed to limit the impact on the indigenous flora and fauna” while retaining the lush forest in the island for guest enjoyment, including a natural mangrove.
