    MMPRC invites top journalists from Italy on FAM trip

    MMPRC hosts tourism familiarization trip for top Italian journalists

    The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has welcomed journalists from prominent Italian publications to experience “the world-class hospitality and luxury” in the Maldives.

    The team of journalists, who arrived in the Maldives on 26th March will stay until 2nd April 2023. During their time in the island nation, the team will “immerse themselves in the unique experiences, products, and Maldives’ renowned service standards.”

    MMPRC is hosting this familiarization trip in collaboration with Turkish Airlines.

    The team consists of five journalists and one PR representative from MMPRC’s Italian PR organization, Tourism Hub. The team had already stayed in Nika Island Resort, Ayada Maldives, with Siyam World set as their next abode.

    This familiarization trip aims to build “greater brand awareness and promote the Maldives as a top-of-mind” tourism destination in the Italian market. With the combined media members, the content they will create is expected to make 20,233,602 impressions.

    The trip is also part of MMPRC’s marketing strategy for the Italian market, with a focus on showcasing the diverse and unique aspects of the Maldivian tourism sector to travelers.

    Italy is currently ranked fourth in terms of tourist arrivals to the Maldives with 45,129 arrivals so far.
