Villa Hotels and Resorts have rebranded two of its properties; the Paradise Island Resort and the Sun Island Resort.

Villa Resorts, owned by the affluent local businessman Qasim Ibrahim, has rebranded Paradise Island Resort to “Villa Nautica at Paradise”; centering the its design and concept to a nautical theme.

The other property, Sun Island Resort, has transitioned into a park concept and thus bears the new title of “Villa Park at Sun Island”.

While two of its prominent properties have undergone major revamps effective from 01st April 2023, Villa is currently embarked on a corporate identity “facelift”; the proprietor is set to rebrand all of the properties under its resort portfolio.

According to Villa Resorts’ website, the company moved towards changing the name and identity of these properties to maintain the same style in all their resorts to strengthen the brand’s identity, which is why it has added “Villa” to the rebranded properties.

Villa Resort will also rebrand its Holiday Island Resort into ‘Villa Haven’ during the last quarter of 2023, and Royal Island and Fund Island resorts expect title changes in the future.

Villa Resorts began operations in 1986. The company operates five resorts in total, with two more in development.

Besides the properties, Villa Resorts said it will take the rebranding journey further with a complete overhaul of the company itself.
