    Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives adds free scuba diving for guests as part of their stay just days after nabbing Best Dive Resort 2023 award.

    “This inclusion sets us apart from our competitors and offers something pretty fantastic for keen scuba divers visiting the Maldives,” Mark Eletr, the General Manager of the property said.

    “Just like we include breakfast, snorkeling lessons and access to the Kids’ Club as part of a stay, we now include diving!” Mark added.

    Kandooma Maldives boats of its own five-star PADI dive center dubbed the ‘Kandooma Dive’ complete with experienced and professional dive instructors.

    The resort is also famous of its dive-centric approach, positioned on the doorstep of some of the top 10 dive sites in the Maldives. The notable dive points in close proximity to Kandooma include;

    Lhosfushi

    The channel deepens to a sandy bottom to 30 meters from sea level, and is home to a plethora of interesting underwater inhabitants including snapper, sweet lips, fusilier, tuna, Napoleon and white-tips that often jolly a few swims to find their sustenance.

    Medhufaru

    ‘Medhufaru’ translates to ‘Middle-Reef’, and is a strong dive point with incoming and outgoing ocean currents, which is the likely reason for the location’s name. The area is a festive zone for fish like Napoleon, eagle rays and other jubilant and vibrant ceeatures.
