JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of the property’s new General Manager.
The renowned haven for families and multigenerational travel, announced the promotion of Mohit Dembla to helm the General Manager’s role of the property.
A seasoned hotelier with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Mohit Dembla began his career with The Oberoi Group and later contributed his expertise to high-profile brands including Taj Hotels, Kempinski Hotels, and Minor International properties across India, the Seychelles and the Maldives.
In 2014, Dembla joined Marriott International as Complex Front Office Manager at the Marriott Hotel & Convention Center and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad.
His journey with the Marriott brand continued in 2018 when he joined JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa as the Resort Manager for the property’s grand opening.
Mohit has been instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that set the tone for the resort’s success. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences have been integral to the property’s growth as well.
The newly promoted General Manager’s leadership centers on fostering a people-first culture, and emphasizes the importance of collaboration and teamwork throughout all departments.
