The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), under its Visit Maldives brand has announced the Maldives will be represented at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024.

The ATM 2024 is the leading global event for the inbound and outbound travel industry in the Middle East from May 6 to 9, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Center, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A circular was earlier sent by MMPRC announcing that the expression of interest for the ATM 2024 was now open, which would be used to estimate the overall number of companies interested to participate in this event.

Visit Maldives aims to enhance participation opportunities to all interested parties in the fair, and facilitate a platform for industry partners to promote their individual business products and experiences.

The Middle Eastern market is one of the key source markets for the Maldives. With the ATM 2024, Visit Maldives aims to increase the Maldivian tourism brand’s visibility and exposure in the market to attract more travelers from the region.

During the global pandemic’s recovery in 2021, Middle Eastern arrivals stood among the strongest. Since the border reopening in, Middle East has maintained its position as a key focus market with over 78,966 arrivals registered in 2023 from the region.
