Business Center Corporation (BCC) launched the Hiyala Weekend Market on Friday, January 19, 2024.
The market is a collaborative effort of the BCC and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and their businesses, and provide a platform to showcase Maldivian products.
The initiative is aligned with the current President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s “Hafthaa 14” (Week-14) pledge as well.
The opening event was attended by the Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Fazul Rasheed.
