Tourism Seychelles and Emirates Airline have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing tourism cooperation.

This renewed dedication was made formal with the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 earlier in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The MoU was signed by Ahmed Khoory, Emirates Airline’s Senior Vice President Commercial – West Asia & Indian Ocean and Sherin Francis, Principal Secretary of Seychelles Tourism Department. The MoU signing was attended by high-profile officials including Seychelles Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Sylvestre Radegonde and Emirates Airlines’ Executive Vice President for Passenger Sales and Country Management, Nabil Sultan.

At the signing event, Minister Radegonde emphasized the importance of Emirates Airlines as a key partner, noting its significant market share and positive impact on Seychelles’ visibility and accessibility.

Under the agreement, Emirates Airlines has reiterated its support Tourism Seychelles, with Ahmed Khoory highlighting the airline’s long-standing relationship with the island nation since 2005. Khoory also emphasized the airline’s role in promoting Seychelles as a top leisure destination.

Emirates Airlines will continue to promote Seychelles and operate double daily flights from Dubai.

Moreover, the renewed agreement also covers a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing trade and tourism, including participation in trade shows, familiarization trips, exhibitions, and workshops. The airline will also assist travel agents and tour operators in key strategic markets, developing tailored holiday packages, provide marketing support, and organize familiarization trips to showcase Seychelles.
