    Central bank seek technical consultant for new office establishment

    MMA seek technical consultant for the development of new office building

    The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) is seeking a technical consultant for the design and construction of its new office building, to be developed at Hulhumale’ Phase I.

    In an announcement, MMA said it was currently in the process of constructing a new office building in Hulhumale’ Phase I and was seeking the services of an experienced consultant with relevant expertise to provide consultancy for the design and construction phase of the new building.

    MMA requests interested parties to register for bidding by submitting their Expression of Interest (EOI) via email to [email protected] before 11:00hrs on April 10, 2025.

    Registered bidders, who require further clarification of the bidding documents have been instructed to mail their queries to the aforementioned email before 11:00hrs on April 17, 2025.

    All bid proposals must be submitted to the central bank’s main headquarters in Male’ City before 11:00hrs on April 30, 2025.

    The announcement follows amid heightened rumors of the government exploring avenues of raising around MVR 15 billion by selling a large plot of land from Hulhumale’ to MMA.
