Tuesday, 27th July – MTCC honcho along with his team had inspected the progress of Haa Alif Ihavandhoo ferry terminal development project. The ferry terminal developed at the upper-north island is part of the first phase of the “Integrated National Public Ferry Network” project. Tuesday, 27th July – Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) CEO inspects the progress of Haa Alif Ihavandhoo harbor development project. Earlier, MTCC honcho Adam Azim made visits to several of upper-northern islands to inspect the progress of the respective islands. According to the contractor company, the Ihavandhoo harbor development project include dredging and excavation operations spanning 30,509 cubic-meters along with the construction of several harbor-related structures. According to Ministry of Tourism, the country was visited by a total of 575,931 tourists from 01st January until 21st July 2021. Maldives Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid confirms on China’s recent pledge to the island nation of donating 400,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
