Bank of Maldives (BML), has announced that its Board of Directors has recommended a dividend payout of MVR 60 per share, following the bank’s strong financial performance in 2025. The national bank revealed that it achieved a net profit of MVR 2.5 billion in 2025, making a 9.8% growth compared to 2024. Furthermore, the bank said that the Board has also proposed a bonus share issue, offering two additional shares for every single share currently held by shareholders. The bank reports generating a net profit of MVR 2.5 billion in 2025. The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure has revealed that a total of 5,067 applications have been submitted so far for the latest housing schemes introduced under the current administration.
