State Electric Company (STELCO) has installed an additional 100-ton RO plant in Alifu Alifu atoll Rasdhoo to cater to the growing water demand.
With the establishment of the new plant, Rasdhoo’s water plantation has the capacity of producing 160 tons of water.
All commissioning work of the plant was executed by the staff of STELCO, and is the first plant to have been fully commissioned by STELCO technicians.
Following completion of the project, STELCO Managing Director Ahmed Shareef met with the staff of the company’s Water, Sewerage and Waste Department and praised them for their exceptional work. Shareef had also thanked STELCO’s staff for executing such a project at a comprehensive capacity for the first time.
