Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Sunday, June 15, announced that it has begun issuing notice to government-issued flats in Hulhumale’ with overdue rent. According to the information obtained by Sun Online, a local media, only 3,219 flats have been making regular rent payments out of the 8,511 government-issued flats, placing the overdue rent at a staggering MVR 728 million.
