Chinese tourist arrivals to the Maldives is now almost less than 2,000 short of reaching 100,000 in annual terms, according to Ministry of Tourism. State Electric Company (STELCO) employees have come to remove tin sheets kept in a dangerous position in ADh. Fenfushi. STELCO confirmed its employees removed the tin sheets placed as a wall covering of a warehouse in Fenfushi. The sheets, full of rust, were in rundown condition. STELCO employees had assisted in removing the sheets and keeping them safely away. The utility provider said that the worn out sheets were removed to ensure that it does not get ripped and blown off in strong winds, amid bad weather conditions across the Maldives currently.

Fushidhiggaru under the Ras Male’ mega project, cannot be completed within eight months as previously stated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. Physical works of the biggest housing initiative of this administration, commenced earlier on December 18, 2024.
